Page 2 — LION'S EYE — August 19, 1991 G.A.G. Focuses On Problems of Planet Earth By Chuck Spector Think of all the problems that we students have: tests, social relationships, teachers, parents, and so on. All of these problems will sooner or later be resolved. Now think of all the problems the planet Earth has: deforestation, global warming, ozone depletion, global warming, ozone depletion, to name a few. Will all of these problems sooner or later be solved? Yes they will, with your help. There are many groups and organizations that we students can join to help save the Earth. Most of these cost money. However, there is one group which costs nothing but a little of your time and effort. This group is the Global Awareness Group right here on campus. The club works to gather information on the danger affecting the planet Earth and to learn ways to lesson the damage, to know for themselves and to share this vital information with others. If you feel that any of the Earth’s problems concern you in some way, help Delco’s G.A.G. do something about them. Come sit in on the first meeting of the fall semester on Wednesday, August 28 at 12:30 pm in the Lion’s Den. The club is open to all students, faculty, and staff. Don’t just think about the Earth's problems, get involved and do something about them.
