After a three way tie for first place in matched points (4-1), the team was dropped to third when the officals reverted to the game points column. Capitol and York Campus' finished one two, respectively. The Delaware.Campus, repre- sented by Allen Papsin, David Oescher, Vince Simoni, Steve Heller and Greg Fulginiti rol- led up a team average of 164. These five men lead the tourne ment untill late in the third round and put in a good show for the Campus at the Del Fnnis Lanes near Ogontz. RIFLE PRACTICE AT ARMORY The newly formed Delaware Camupus rifle team has drawn a large number of Lampus stu- derits to its weekly practice meeting. The more then thir- ty odd members have divided themselves into two teams for their Monday evening meetings at the Chester armory. The meetingss are held between 5:30 and 7:00 PM. Sargent Jack bBalentine, of the Army National Guard has been instructing the team mem bers on the proper handling of guns. Those members who do not bring their own rifles are being allowed to use U.S. Army +22 calaber rifles sup;lied by Sgt. Bslentine. The teams have been organized to event- wally enter competition in the Inter-Campus league. The best marksmen will soon be repre- senting the campus throughout the state.
