Faculty To Vote On Unionization Today Faculty members at Penn St:ate will vote on Wednesday and Thursday, March 30 lnd 31, to accept or reject represent ation by a union. Polling sites will be es tablished at each of the Uni versity's Campuses throughout the state; where eligible fac ulty members are located. The Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board will conduct the election. Library Losse High Says Ferry By JOHN SENGtE COLLEGIAN Staff Writer 520 books have been stolen from the Hlghacres Li brary in a two-year period ac cording to Mary Ferry, High acres Librarian. "It's a bad situation," said Ferry. The average cost of a li brary book is $l2. The cost i a science book is at least $2l With processing that means thi in a two-year period over $B,l worth of books have been stoli from the Library. Ferry feels there is a vi able solution to this problem. That solution involves the in stallation of an electronic de tection system. This system would trigger an alarm any tii a book was taken out of the Library. "Losses can be cut 98% to 99%.
