(CPS)-Thanks to the economic recovery, the market for student interns seems to have reversed itself in the last few weeks. A number of campuses around the country report businesses are offering more in ternships this fall, and that the campus cooperative education offices are having a hard time finding enough students to satisfy the demand. "Placement is up this semester due to the turnaround in the economy," reports Keith Kirby, co-op ed director at Wichita State University. "For the first time, employers are calling us for students." SGA (continued from pg. 1) President Gasiorek is looking forward to her year in SGA. She said she has great con fidence in the new staff. "We have a good group this year. They're a cohesive group," she said. "We need a group that works together, and I think that's what we have." GOING TO LAW SCHOOL? THEN YOU NEED TO TAKE THE LAW SCHOOL ADMISSIONS TEST --- --- AND DO WELL!! Campus art exibit The third of a series of Art exhibits featuring the work of local artist/educators is cur rently hanging in the Humanities Suite Gallery. This month's artist is Susan Got tlieb, an art teacher at Donegal High school in Mount Joy. Her drawings and paintings • are abstractions of simple organic forms and shadows. They are the products of two graduate courses she completed this sum mer at the Maryland Institute College of Arts in Baltimore. "Ms. Gottlieb's admiration of the works of Robert Mother will, Helen Franklin Thaler and Milton Avery is evident in her own recent work," Linda Ross, instructor in humanities and education said. Acrylic and pastel are her preferred media and many of her pieces are col lages that exploit the textural richness that these materials can produce according to Ross. *****************-*************4-******** -I(****************-IF.********************4 Of course, you can run to a bookstore and buy some assembly-line study guide on the LSAT.
