We also are due to suffer the additional indignity of having elected our terrorists. Well, having already been depressed enough by the Drury/Allen script of the first episode, if WITF covers the rest of this exercise in creative insnity, I think I'll just curl up with a good bottle of scotch, turn off the volume and slip on the soundtrack album from "Take the Money and Run." He plays a type of old-time country music, and is helping to keep an original American tradition alive. He has learned his music from musicians he has gotten to know, who include the Carter Family, the Blue Sky Boys, G.B. Crayson, Wade Mainer, and Uncle Dave Macon. Unfortunately for us Easterners, his only album, Big Jim Griffith - The Dixie Cowboy, is not on sale in the East. Jim also organizes the largest annual ethnic folk festival in Arizone, called "Tuscon, Meet Yourself". Big Jim played for well over an hour, bringing a pleasant break in the day at Capitol. His narrative between songs along with the humorous lyrics and animal immitations brought good feelings and all added to what Big Jim called "Fun Foolessness". AU5'04044"
