MIS club On Oct. 24, 1985, a group of 15 students from Behrend’s MIS Club visited the General Electric Computer Center. They were given a tour of the facilities and shown the various hard ware components which make up a complex computer system. An ex planation of the different types of processing done at G.E. was also given. The students were impressed by the size, speed, and power of such a large corporate system as compared to our university system. After the tour members enjoyed going out for pizza together “on the club.” Future plans for the MIS Club include possilby bringing in some speakers and setting up the Book Sale Co-op which originated last year.
