4 | The Behrend Beacon SGA update: resolutions and election results No homework on voting day The Student Govemtment Association recently passed the follow- ing resolution The Penmylvania State University at Erie, The Behrend College Student Government Association Resolution No. 2004-2005*1 9-29-2004 Whereas, the Student Government Association is the representative organization of the student body and strives to give voice to the students, on curricular and co-curricular alftirs end represent them to the administration, faculty, staff end outside representatives. Whereas, student participation in election* is crucial for the well-being and proper representation of the student body at Penn State Behrend. Be it resolved, that we the Student Government Association are in support that faculty and staff members should avoid scheduling exeats or having cmjor assignments due on Election Day ( November 2 - ,2004) or the IbOowing day to allow student participation in the electoral process.
