Jeremy Brubaker Baseball by Jessica Tucci associate editor Junior center fielder Jeremy Brubaker is at the top of his game. He leads the team in steals, six for six. He is also tied in batting av erage with an average of ,412 with 14 hits in the last 34 at bats. As for Behrend baseball coach Paul Benitn, he has nothing but good things to say about Brubaker. “He is a great kid” says Benitn. “When we recruit, we look for more people like Jeremy.” He added, “he is not just a good player, but he is a good student.” The compliments do not end with Coach Benitn. They extend through his teammates. “He is Ihe catalyst of the team, fie »$ defi nitely the most important player on the team,” says teammate Ryan Smith. Smith concluded by say ing, “when Brubaker goes, the team goes with him,” In conclusion, die baseball team has a record of b-3, with much contribution from Brubaker. The outlook for the season looks bright. Myrtle Beach prepares Behrend golf team by Will Jordan editor in chief The Behrend men’s golf team re turned from Myrtle Beach at the end of Spring Break with a bright out look for their future matches. The team’s first two matches arc on April 11 which is the Mcrcyhurst Invitational and April 12 which is against Washington and Jefferson. Co-team captain Jason Cujas said, “As a team, wc did well [in Myrtle Beach). Wc played six dif ferent courses.
