It will be the first time he will be on an opposite side of the field soccer. Dennis H. Hoover went to Behrend for two years before transferring and he participated in soccer. In 1967 he led the team in scoring. Robert J. Jeffrey also excelled at soccer for Behrcnd. Between 1970-73 he started every game for the Lions and in 1973 he was elected to the West Penn All-Star Team. The seventh and final inductee is John Zahniser. Zahniser is an honorary inductee who went on to medical school after Penn State Behrend.
