Monday, the Lions traveled to Washington, Pennsylvania, to meet the Presidents of W&J. Despite having a 44-32 halftime lead, Behrend could only muster 19 second half points as they fell to the Presidents, 68-63. Jason Paloskey led the offensive attack with 15 points. Andy Lawrence followed with 11 points, four rebounds, and three assists. Lions now stand at 11-10 for the season. Jeff Myers rounded out the double digit-scorers for Behrend with 10 points. The floor certainly fell out on the Lions, as Behrend only shot 29 percent from the field in the second half. This tasted especially bad after the Lions shot 64 percent from the field in the first half. Saturday, the Lions hosted the Warriors of Keuka College (8- 13). Behrend got trenched 59-57. Ron Derian and Lawrence were the only Lions in double figures as Derian netted 13 points and Lawrence aired 10 points. Lawrence also battled for team high honors in rebounds with seven, and assists with three.
