Alana Allan, ‘Dallas Middle School parent orientation The Dallas Middle School will hold a parent orientation on Wed. May 9, at 7 p.m. for the parents of fifth grade students who will be attending the middle school next year. The program will begin in the auditorium with a general overview of the program presented by Mr. Martinelli, principal, and Mr. Reinert, assistant principal. Guid- ance counselors Mrs. Raelene Olszewski and Mr. Michael Shevock will also be on hand to answer any questions. Following the general @®ceting, the student council will lead small groups of parents on a tour of the building. The sixth grade teachers will be in their rooms to greet the parents. All parents are encouraged to attend. Dallas Middle School Spring concert On May 22, 23 and 24, the Dallas Middle School will come alive with the sounds of spring. The spring concerts will feature the middle school bands and choruses, under the direction of Mr. Michael Pawlik and Ms. Jill Unice. Over four hundred students will be performing in these concerts. The sixth grade band and chorus concert will be May 22; the seventh grade May 23 and the eighth grade May 24. The concerts will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Dallas Middle School auditorium and the concerts are free and open to the public. . 1 ut plas gi uv Candy sale huge success Easter was a very busy time for the students at Dallas Elementary School. The Gertrude Hawk Candy sale was a huge success. Prizes were awarded to the top five sellers and they had their pic- tures taken with the Easter bunny. The Dallas Elementary School PTO provided the students with an Easter party and a visit from the Easter bunny. The winners of the top 5 prizes were from, Lindsay Jayne, Andrew Smith, Tiffanie Miller, Taylor Trudgen, and Raymond Hoffman. The following school lunch menus are for May 10-16.
