Dinner with Six Strangers: will be held on Thursday
November 18 at 6 p.m. in the Wintergreen Cafe. All
students are invited to attend this seventh annual evening
of fine food and fellowship. Students may RSVP in the
Office of Student Activities until November 15, 1993.
Come dine with faculty, staff and fellow students. Dinner
is free so don’t miss it!
AIDS Awareness Day: The movie “Long Time
Companion” will be shown on Saturday, November 6 at 6
p.m. in the Reed Lecture Hall. A lecture on “AIDS and
ADDS Testing in Erie County” by the AIDS Council of Erie
County will follow. Afterwards a reception will be held in
the Wintergreen Cafe.
Study Abroad Information: Attention freshmen and
sophomores: information on spring 1995 Education
Abroad Programs is available at the Provost’s Office in
Glenhill Farmhouse or you may contact Mari Trenkle at
x 6160.
Parking Permit Sale: As of Monday, November 1,
1993 fall parking permits will be reduced to half price for
the rest of the semester. The reduced price will be
reflected in the spring permits if bought between
November 1 and December 1. For more information, call
Larry Silvis at Police and Safety.
Sweet Daddy's Worldt on Tuesday, November 9,
will have homosexuality as the topic. It will be held in the
Wintergreen Cafe. Be there!
OLAS Meeting: The Organization of Latin American
Students' meetings are on Sundays at 9:10 p.m. in Tigress
Hall. For more information, contact Yidira (x 6854, box
#580).
Class Still Needs “Adopted”: The third grade class at
Diehl Elementary School is still seeking a student
organization to adopt them. Contact Leigh Barnes at
x 6014.
Tutoring Available: at the Learning Assistance Center
(2nd floor of library, Room 203) for tree in such areas as
physics, Spanish, math, psychology, and study skills.

Bowl-A-Thon: The Omicron Delta Kappa honor society
will hold its annual Bowl-A-Thon on Sunday, November
14, at Eastland Bowling Lanes. All proceeds will go
toward new books for the Behrend library. For more
information contact Keith McFall at x 6840, or Brett
Casteel at x 6879.
Logan Wintergarden Series: The Chestnut Brass
Company will perform on Monday, November 8 at upon
in the Wintergarden. This quintet is the only bsgss
ensemble to perform regularly oh both modern and
historical instruments. The performance is open to the
public.
Women's Film Series: The movie "Danzon" will be
shown on Tuesday, November 9 at 7 p.m. in the Reed
Lecture Hall. Ibis is the third of four in the series.

Theft
Between 9:30 p.m. Sunday, October 17, and 8 a.m. Monday, October 18, a
sweatshirt was stolen from the laundry room in Niagara Hall. The incident is
under investigation.
Receiving Stolen Property
On Friday, October 29 at 2:08 a.m., seven students were observed bringing
several highway traffic signs, lawn ornaments, and flashing barricades into
Perry Hall. An investigation revealed (hat these items were taken from
various locations in the surrounding area. All items are being held until the
investigation is completed, at which time the items will be returned to their
rightful owners.
Harassment
On Friday, October 29 at 10:30 p.m., a non-student juvenile punched a visitor
in the face at the S-lot. There were no visible injuries. Charges have been
filed.
Underage Drinking
On Sunday, October 31 at 1:20 a.m., a male student was found in the apartment
quad and he had been drinking at an off-campus party. Because the male
was under the age of 21, he was charged with underage drinking.
Underage Drinking/Public Drunkenness
On Sunday, October 31 at 2:15 a.m., a male student who had been drinking at
an off-campus party was found outside Lawrence Hall acting in a peculiar
manner. When questioned by the officer the male became unruly. He was
then taken to the Office of Police and Safety where he was charged with
underage drinking and public drunkenness.
SGA Report
Senators Hal Coffey, Ron Gray, Jabari Hunt and James
Ruhlman were elected to the Appellate Board. Campus
organizations take their cases to the Appellate Board if they
are unhappy with the decision of the Judical Committee.
The Parking Appeals Board will now be meeting at 5:30
p.m. on Monday evenings.
SGA also went Halloweening and collected money for the
United Way.
