Miami, FL 33261 Theft Between 9:30 p.m. Sunday, October 17, and 8 a.m. Monday, October 18, a sweatshirt was stolen from the laundry room in Niagara Hall. The incident is under investigation. Receiving Stolen Property On Friday, October 29 at 2:08 a.m., seven students were observed bringing several highway traffic signs, lawn ornaments, and flashing barricades into Perry Hall. An investigation revealed (hat these items were taken from various locations in the surrounding area. All items are being held until the investigation is completed, at which time the items will be returned to their rightful owners. Harassment On Friday, October 29 at 10:30 p.m., a non-student juvenile punched a visitor in the face at the S-lot. There were no visible injuries. Charges have been filed. Underage Drinking On Sunday, October 31 at 1:20 a.m., a male student was found in the apartment quad and he had been drinking at an off-campus party. Because the male was under the age of 21, he was charged with underage drinking. Underage Drinking/Public Drunkenness On Sunday, October 31 at 2:15 a.m., a male student who had been drinking at an off-campus party was found outside Lawrence Hall acting in a peculiar manner. When questioned by the officer the male became unruly. He was then taken to the Office of Police and Safety where he was charged with underage drinking and public drunkenness. SGA Report Senators Hal Coffey, Ron Gray, Jabari Hunt and James Ruhlman were elected to the Appellate Board. Campus organizations take their cases to the Appellate Board if they are unhappy with the decision of the Judical Committee. The Parking Appeals Board will now be meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Monday evenings. SGA also went Halloweening and collected money for the United Way.
