KENDALL'S SPAVIN CURE !
THE MOST BUCCESSFUL REMEDY EVER
discovered, as It Is certain In Its ellects and does
uot blister. Read Proof Below.
From Eer. N. P. granger,
Presiding Elder of the St. Albans District.
St. Albans, Vt., Jan. 20th, IS80.
DR. J. B. KENDALL & CO., Gents: In reply
to your letter I will say that my experience with
Kendall's Spavin Cure has been vory satisfactory
Indeed. Three or four years ago I procured a bot
tle of your agent, and with it, cured a horse of
lameness caused by Spavin. Last season my
horse became very lame and I turned him out for
a few weeks when he became better, but when I
put him on the road he grew worse, when I dis
covered thata ring-bone was forming. I procured
a bottle ot Kendall's Spavin Cure, and with less
than a bottle cured him so that he Is not lame,
neither can the bunch be found.
Respectfully yours,
P. N. GRANGER.
Perseverance Will Tell !
Stonghton, Mass., March lfim, 1880.
B.J. Kendall & Co., Gents: In justice to you
and myself, I think 1 ought to let you know that I
have removed TWO BONE SPAVINS with Ken
dall's Spavin Cure," one very large one; don't
know how long the Spavin had been there. I
have owned the horse eight mouths. It took me
four months to take the large one off, and two
months for the small one. 1 have used 10 bottles.
The horse Is entirely well, not at all still, and no
bunch to be seen or felt. This Is a wonderful
medicine. It is a new thing here, but If it does
for all what it has done for me Its sale will be very
great. Respectfully yours,
CHAS. E. PARKER.

Licensed to Kill.
Apropos of the Medical Congress, here
is a story which will amuse such of my
readers as happen to be "licensed to kill."
It appears that an epidemic of typhoid -fever
broke out in a small village in the
South of France. A locksmith fell ill
and called In a local medical man, who
came, prescribed, and went away. The
next day, during his usual rounds, he
called at the locksmith's and asked his
wife after the health of the patient.
She replied, " Ah, sir, only Imagine,
whilst I went to fetch the medicine my
husband ate two pickled herrings and a
dish of bean salad."
"Great heavens!" cried the doctor,
" and now he is" -
"Quite well, Doctor. He went to work
this morning, and is as well as possible,"
said the happy wife.
" This is extraordinary I" exclaimed
the doctor, " what a wonderful remedy
for typhoid ! I must make a note it"
And accordingly entered in his note
book, " Typhoid fever tried remedy :
two pickled herrings and bean salad."
Two days afterwards a brlck-layer was
attacked by the same disorder. " Take,"
said the same doctor, who was consulted,
"two pickled herrings and a dish of
bean salad. I will come again to-morrow."
To-morrow alas! the bricklayer was
dead. The doctor, taking a logical view
of his experimental method, again enter
ed In the famous notebook, " Typhoid
fever remedy-pickled herrings and beaa
salad.' Good for locksmiths, bad for
bricklayers."
I
