November 26, 1975 Mr. and Mrs. Norman Shenk back from 6-week Africa trip Norman Shenk, R.D.#2, Mount Joy, treasurer of Eastern Mennonite Board of Missions, and his wife, Jean, made a six-week administrative trip to church es in Swaziland, Tanzania, Kenya, Ethiopia, and Sudan They also visited EMBMC programs in Luxembourg and Germany. The Shenks returned October 27 and made the following report: ‘Jean and I saw the Lord in a new way as we saw another part of His body. We saw the church at work in food production, educa- tion, and community deve- lopment. When an MCC volunteer told us that people are coming to Bible study and prayer fellowship, we knew that relief ministries are spiritually effective. God’s spirit in us seemed to faith and seek for the security of divine truth. There is a great increase in Bible study, fellowship meetings, and church at- tendance. The church buildings are used six days a week and are crowded twice on Sundays.” ““We could not enter fully into the worship experience in the various languages of Africa and Europe, but we did absorb a great feeling of worship in the spirit. We praise God for allowing us to see and feel the life of His people in many places.” Three from area help Millersville music program Three area residents are currently participating in musical organizations at Millersville State College.
