at Mount Joy. On Wednes-
day, Nov. 5, students,
armed with rakes, shovels,
and wheelbarrows, went to
Mount Joy Lincoln Ceme-
tary and Mount Joy Cove to
clean up these areas. It was
a hard dav of work but
everybody enjoyed pitching
in to keep these areas clean
for the residents of Mount
Joy. It was a worthwhile
project and everybody was
proud of what they had
accomplished at these areas,

Spending up,
taxes down!
Concerned Citizens of
Mount Joy Township have
organized in opposition to
the $4.8 million dollar
sewage system being pro-
posed for the area.
Two meetings of the new
group have been held, a
third is planned for Nov. 18
at the E-town H.S.
The group does not
think the sewer will be
useful. They also think its
cost is exhorbitant.
