SUMMER IS GREAT FOR FAMILIES. TURN THIS WEEKEND INTO A FAMLY VACATION. No matter how early you start your weekend Members and friends, meeting in the Rheems Fire Hall, gave Miss Henderson floral arrangement and a standing vote of thanks for her years of service. Miss Henderson, by her untiring efforts, has kept in touch with a majority of graduates of Maytown, later East Donegal, High School. She was admirably fitted for this effort, having taught in the East Donegal and Mt. Joy Townships, in Mt. Joy from 1920 to 1929, in Maytown from 1929 to 1954, and at Donegal Junior High from 1954 until her retire- ment in 1962. She has kept in touch with many of her pupils through the years. Her Maytown news column which appeared for many years in the Mt. Joy Bulletin often carried notes of interest concerning her friends scattered across the country. The Association elected the following officers: Pres. William Heisey; Vice Pres. - Norman Houseal; Corres- ponding Secretary, Miss HelenHollenbaugh; Record- ing Secretary, Mrs. Hazel Crankshaw; Treasurer, John Harold Drace. William Smith, Mrs. Audry Penwell and Miss Henderson will serve on the Banquet Committee. Mrs. George Waller will bring the necrol- ogy report at next year’s meeting. Howard Frysinger, class 1899, was the oldest mem- ber present. The class of 1902 was represented by Rev. Aubrey Goudie, Ben Garber and Miss Sara Habecker. Miss Minnie Witmer, class of 1913 came from California; Bobby Sload, class of 1946, came from Texas; and Miss Rhoda Kauffman, class of 1937, arrived home from Bangle- desh in time to attend the meeting.
