At present the govern- ment is contributing $60,000 to the special reading programs at Maytown and Riverview Elementary and Beahm Junior High Schools. One requirement for the federal funding to help reading problems is full participation by parents. Mr. John Sauter of the ‘Donegal School District, therefore, most urgently invites parents to attend a meeting at 7:30 p.m. on June 17 in the library of Donegal High School. Parents’ attendance will have a bearing on the help their children will receive in learning to read better.
