Webe- los Leaders are men who work with the 10 year old Cub Scouts in special groups. The Training Course will be held at the J. Edward Mack Scout Reservation. Opening the Course at 9:30 a.m. and concluding at 4:00 p.m., the day’s event will include a cook-out. The Cub Leaders will re- ceive instruction in Den Op- eration, Camp Set-Up, Acti- vity Badges, Record Keep- ing, Parent Relationship, Ceremonies and Program Planning. Dr. Burkholder has been president at Goshen Coll- ege since 1971. He is a graduate of the college and was a professor of the school’s department of Bible, religion and philo- sophy for 13 years. He has served as a Mennonite pas- tor, as administrator of re- lief programs of the Church World Service and the Men- nonite Central Committee in India during 1944-45 and in China from 194548. He was also a relief commission- er to Vietnam under Church World Service in 1954. Dr. Burkholder was a professor in the department of the church at Harvard Divinity School for ten years. Goshen College is a four- year, liberal arts college in Goshen, Indiana. It is own- ed and operated by the Mennonite Church and has neraly 1,250 students en- rolled throughout the school year.
