Time for Yule Mailing To Corners of World It may not seem that Christmas is so near! But, it is time for most all Christmas mail which is going into far-away corners of the world to be on its way. Postmaster Gerald Hostetter said this week that mailings, unless they are by air, should be on their way at once, if they are headed for the Far East, Antarctica, Australia, Ethiopia, Iran, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Congo, Liberia, Continental Europe, South and Central America, Newfoundland, Greenland and Labrador. Military mail, especially, needs to be started im- mediately, if going outside the U.S. During the first week in December, mailings should go out, even airmail, to most of the locations mentioned above, if to the military. International mailing, unless by airmail, of cards and parcels should be on their way to Canada and Mexico by the first week of next month and air parcels to Africa, Near East and Far East should be started.
