NANCY J. TESTERMAN
Mrs. Nancy J. Testerman,
35, 127 E. Vine St., Lan-
caster, died at St. Joseph
Hospital Thursday evening
June 13, after an illness of six
months.
She was the widow of Isaac
H. Testerman. Born in
Florin, she was the daughter

of William S. Arndt and the
late Ruth Stauffer Arndt.
She resided in Lancaster
for the past four years.
She is survived by her
father and stepmother, Mr.
and Mrs. William S. Arndt of
Mount Joy, and four sons:
Isaac Lee, Michael Todd,
Mark Anthony and Matthew
David, all at home. Also
surviving are these
brothers: William E. and
Rodney Arndt, both of Mount
Joy, and a sister, Ruth Ann
Arndt, of Mount Joy.
Services were held from
the Heilig funeral home
Monday morning, June 17,
and burial was made in the
Eberle cemetery.
BENJAMIN C. BROWN
Funeral services for
Benjamin C. Brown, 77, who
died Sunday evening, June 9,
at St. Joseph hospital, were
held Wednesday, June 12,
from St. Mary’s Catholic
church.
Burial was made in St.
Peter’s Catholic cemetery,
Elizabethtown.
The deceased, who lived at
204 S. Barbara Street, died

physician.
He was the husband of
Veronica Betzler Brown.
He had been a textile
worker at George-Brown &
Son cotton mills until the
business closed in 1950. He
was last employed as a
watchman at National
Standard Co.
A member of St. Mary's
Catholic Church, Mount Joy,
he also belonged to Mount
Joy American Legion Post
185.
Brown, who served in the
U.S. Marines in World War I,
took part in operations
against bandit forces in
north Haiti in 1919.
A resident of Mount Joy for
the past 40 years, he was
born in Philadelphia, a son of
the late Benjamin and Ella
McMenamin Brown.
In addition to his widow, at
home, he is survived by one
son, Albert B., at home, and
one daughter, Eleanor, wife
of Albert Mueller, El Paso,
Tex.; two grandchildren,
and one sister, Miss
Florence Brown, Lancaster.
Services were in charge of
the Sheetz funeral home.

Dead End to Cherry Alley;
(5) North Market Avenue -
Main Street to Pink Alley;

The total estimated

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 334
ENACTED JUNE 8,
1970 TO PROVIDE FOR THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF ADDITIONAL ONE-WAY STREETS
WITHIN THE BOROUGH OF MOUNT JOY.
BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED by Borough Council of
the Borough of Mount Joy, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania,
and it is hereby ordained and enacted as follows:
" SECTION 1. Section 4. of Article II of Ordinance No. 334,
enacted June 8, 1970, is hereby amended by adding the
following three (3) streets which are hereby establishsd as
one-way streets:
