Miss Shaffner, your correspondent and Joe Hunt- zinger attended the funeral service for their classmate Dave Shank. Miss Beatrice Datesman, Columbia, called on your correspondent last Tues. Charles Hicks son of Mr. and Mrs. George Hicks, Lititz, spent last week with his grandma, Mrs. May Hicks. Todd Glattacker, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Glattacker, Lititz, spent last weekend with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Glattacker, Sr. The Golden Age Club held its annual picnic at the Sico Park last Tuesday. Twenty-one members and guests attended. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Derr celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary last Sunday. The Leslie Blakes are spending the week at Belleville, Ill. While there. they will attend the wedding of their daughter, Miss Carol Blake. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Good, Marietta, R.1, returned last Friday from a vacation in the Pacific Northwest. Pat Reidy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Barr, 24 Elizabeth St. just returned from the National Achievers’ Conference at Bloomington, Ind. She represented Lancaster County as vice president of Personnel, an honor bestowed upon her by the Lancaster Personnel club. This Conference provided opportunities for individual leadership to give guidance and encouragement to local achievers’ associations, to promote better communication among all levels of organizations in Junior Achievement and to instill in its participants a better understanding of the private enterprise business system. Pat is a senior in the Academic course at Donegal High School and is looking forward to another great year in Junior Achievement. Captain David Greer, Tyndall, Air Force Base, Florida, visited his parents for several days last week. His daughters, Angela, Sonja and Kelly returned to Florida last Sunday. The girls spent the past month with the Greers. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Hen- derson, Miss Doris Gorrecht and Miss Mae Zeller, Florida were dinner guests of your correspondent last Wednesday.
