Roots’ Market was a fascinating place to the three. They came home loaded down with a huge watermelon, a cantalope, and peaches and nectarines! They visited the Wax Museum, the Dutch Family Festival, the country store at Bird-in-Hand, and other places in the tourist area east of Lancaster, and brought home appropriate souvenirs, ‘‘treasures.”’ They saw three colleges - Millersville, F.&M and Elizabethtown, and were moved to wish they might be students at a Bre el BL Uh \ STONEBRIDGE FARM Butcher Shop Frozen Home - Dressed Meats Sides, Quarters, Bulk Packs, Retail Cuts Custom Butchering Frozen Seafood & Weaver's Chickens Retail Store Hours: Mon.-Thurs. 8-6; Fri. 8-8; Sat. 8-5 1% mi. And of course they visited Park City! One of the things they enjoyed the most was a trip to Hershey. They loved its beautiful streets, trees and buildings, the lovely farm homes for orphan boys, the big school on the side of the mountain, Hotel Hershey, Founders’ Hall, Chocolate World, etc. etc. They declined to visit the Amusement Park, saying, ‘We have a big amusement park not far from Bremen, and besides, we just had our county fair and carnival last week!” And so it went! Each ex- perience was fresh and new to them - and it reminded us of our first visit to Lancaster County just 17 years ago this summer! The girls’ visit recalled our own enthusiasm for this area, and the reasons we decided to call it “home!” MAIN STREET (Continued from Page 1) A borough ordinance sets out that it is against the law to maintain a hedge more than four feet in height within 50 feet of a street intersection. + The borough is aware of situations which are in violation.
