St. Marks To Observe “Fifty Great Days” During the fifty days between Easter and Pentecost, the people of St. Mark's United Methodist church will be involved in a concentrated program built around the work of the Holy Spirit. In Sunday worship the pastor, W. Richard Kohler, will preach on such themes as “The Holy Spirit and Witnessing,” “The Work of the Holy Spirit in the Book of Acts,” ‘“The Spirit of God vs. The Spirit of Man,” “Proof of the Spirit's Presence,” and ‘‘The Experience of the Holy Spirit.” In Wednesday evening share groups, members of the congregation will be concluding a study of Luke II and begin con- siderations of the Books of Acts. Also, during the “Fifty Great Days” some members of the congregation will engage in Christian witnessing through home visitation of members and friends of the congregation as a follow-up of the Mount Joy community religious census. The highlight of the “Fifty Great Days” will be a visit by Bishop James Ault on Sunday, May 20, with the reception of new members.
