MAYTOWN NEWS NOTES Miss Grace Henderson A surprise “drop in” was held Saturday, Sept. 12 to honor the 25th wedding an- niversary of Mr. and Mrs. Russel Bostic. It was plan- ned by Mrs. Bostic’s children, Mrs. Kenneth Barnhart and Harold Houseal. The Frank Singers and the John Markles returned from a fishing trip to Ottawa, Canada. They caught 21 pike which ranged in size from 25 to 33 inches long. About five each weighed 8 pounds. They also caught 25 bass. Miss Elizabeth Fletcher of Coatesville, spent last week- end with the Harold Engles. Mr. and Mrs. Christian Beshler, Coatesville, visited Mrs. Elizabeth Beschler and family last Sunday. Members of the United Church of Christ attended the morning worship ser- vice at Donegal Presbyterian church last Sunday. They al- so attended ‘the Sunday School picnic in the after- noon. Dennis Hay has enrolled at Penn State university. His brother John has returned to Juniata college. The officers of the Ameri- can Legion Auxiliary were installed with Bainbridge 197, Columbia 372 and Eliz- abethtown 329 Units at the Elizabethtown Legion Home last Monday evening. There will be a special night regis- tration in the Centerville building and Hempfield high school on the first night of school. The Fall semesizr will be conducted on 10 ccasecutive Monday evenings beginning September 21 and er ding on Nov. 23. The 2-hour sessicns will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at two sites—the Centerville Junior high school and the Hempfield high school. David is a graduate of Manchester College, where he received a B.S. in speech & drama. Lucina also is a grad- uate of Manchester College where she earned a B.A. in vocal music.
