An imoginary jet will wing its way to China and Hong Kong where the chil- dren will ‘visit’ those far-off places. Choir Concert At Landisville The Gettysburg College Choir will appear at the Zion Lutheran church, Lan- disville, on Sunday, March 3, at 3:30 pm. In the summer of 1967, during its world tour, the Tehran Journal, of Tehran, Iran commented: “The Get- tysburg College Choir went all the way from solemnly devotional to the lightest of light Americana at the Youth Palace last night. But it did all with the same high stand- ard and exuberant gusto. On rhythm, pitch and coordina- tion, the whole chorus was faultless.” The concert is sponsored by the Lancaster Sub-League of the Woman's General League of Gettysburg Col- lege. Votech School Quotas Assigned Final quotas of assignments to the Votech schools have been made and Donegal dis- trict has been given 91 plac- es for next fall. The local district will send 2 to Brownstown school, 13 to Willow Street and 76 to the Mount Joy school north of the borough. Students who want courses which are not available at Mount Joy are transferred to one of the other two cen- ters in the county and other boys and girls in other sec- tions who want courses given only here will be moved into this center. Some of the vocational and technical classes will be given at all three centers, but there are several which will be given at only one (or possibly two) schools. Buy U. S. The trouble with human beings is not that they lack horse sense, but that they lack human intelligence. Patronize Our Advertisere ) Tuberculosis ' About 100,000 Americans are walking the streets today with active infectious tuberculosis— and they don’t know it. By the time the symptoms, such as fever, weight loss, and cough- ing appear, the disease has * reached a point where control is difficult. Because tubercu- losis is so highly communicable, be sure you have an annual skin test and chest X-ray. 1 5 , a ) | \ i'E Ps TOR ~~ Charley Horse ~~ ." Ever wake up in the middle of the night with a charley horse or cramp in your leg? The best way to relieve such a painful cramp is to jump out of bed and stand on the cramp- ed leg. Put your full weight on it and then vigorously rub the affected area. You'll feel the, pain subside within moments. ~\\e alt li fg FROM BLUE SHIELD fr ® —— CHE | J . Eyesigh. Poor eyesight affects one out of every five children in our country. There are many clues that suggest defective vision. An eye examination and vision test is in order if vour child blinks frequently, rubs his eyes, or squints. These examinations will determine if the child needs corrective lenses or some .other type of treatment. THE BULLETIN, MOUNT JOY, PA.
