Strasburg, Va, i THE CHURCH FOR ALL ALL FOR THE CHURCH The Church is the great« est factor on earth for the building of character and good citizenship. It is a storehouse of spiritual values. Without a strong Church, neither democ= xacy nor civilization can survive, There are four sound reasons why every person should attend ser vices regularly and supe port the Church. They are: (1) For his own sake, (2) For his children's sake. (3) For the sake of his community and na= tion. (4) For the sake of the Church itself, which needs his moral and ma= terial support. Plan to go to church regularly and ead your Bible daily. Ever notice how some people associate the joy of living with moments of care-free relaxation, while others seem to find equal happiness in both work and leisure? Which seems most natural? Was man created with the capacity for find- ing happiness in his spare time only or was he endowed with a genius for reaping joy from both work and play? Before anyone surrenders to the cynicism of the first theory, he owes it to himself, his neighbors and his God to give the second a real try. For centuries the Church has been helping men to discover the deep and lasting joy of purposeful living. When your life has a purpose, linked to the Purpose of God . . . then every day reveals anew the joy of living!
