When us- ing a meat thermometer, in- sert it in the middle of the thickest part of the roasi, making sure the bulb or the point doesn’t touch bone or fat. Then cook the meat un- til the thermometer registers 185 degrees. This will insure that the pork is safe to eat. Oven temperature recom- mended for roasting pork is 350 degrees. But the cooking time will vary with the size, shape, and composition of the pork cut.
