Make sure that Let '*d you CAN ke proud of | | Mount Joy Bulletin ‘Need Leaders For Girl Scouts Girl Scout leaders are needed in the local Mount Joy-Florin Neighborhood. At the present time, one leader and two assistant leaders are needed for Intermediate troops which meet in the ev- enings. At the present time there are fifty-six million women in the United States over the age of 18. From this total, Girl Scout leaders must be chosen. In a recent survey, figures showed that mothers with children aged 6 to 11 = only total 38% of the labor force: 41% of mothers with children aged 12 to 17 only. The proportion of children has doubled within the last few years and the need for leaders has doubled. Keep- ing the “working” figures in mind, the field for leaders has both lowered and raised. Leaders will have to be chos- en from the younger and older women of the Commu- nity. Mrs. James Roberts is in charge of troop organizing. Any interested women are asked to contact Mrs. Rob- erts whether she is 18 or 60, whether or not she is em- nloyed outside the home, or whether or not she is a mo- ther of young girls. ®— 'TRI-HI'Y CLUB 'S ORGANIZED The new club was organi- zed at Donegal high school last month.
