Joy R2 Three Teachers Elected For Donegal High Three teachers were elected] to the Donegal High School fa- culty at the regular meeting of the group last Thursday even- ing. Grant Miller was elected to teach vocational agriculture. Mr. Miller graduated from Pennsylvania State University and formerly taught at McVey- town High School. Victor Stehman of Columbia was elected to teach geography and science in the junior high school. Mr. Stehman is a grad- uate of Columbia High School and Millersville State Teach- ers College. He recently com- pleted a two-year term in the U. S. Army. George Kauffman was elect- ed to teach boys physical edu- cation. Mr. Kauffman is a grad- uate of Altoona High School and Lock Haven State Teach- ers College. He also attended Pennsylvania State University and Millersville State Teachers College and has taught at the New Holland and West Lam- peter High Schools. The board gave the authori- zatito to the authority group to have five acres of the ground to the rear of the high school graded for sports purposes. The land will include spaces for a hockey field, baseball diamond and football field. Also included in the summer's program will be an additional road which will give an opening unto the road which connects the Marie- tta road and Pinkerton Road.
