NOTICE :

The State Highway Patrol is con-
tinuing its campaign against uninspect-
ed motor vehicles and against opera-
tors who cannot furnish proof of in-
spection during the compulsory inspec-
tion period that ended September 30,
the Department of Revenue announced
here.
To date, 1,134 operators have been
arrested by the Highway Patrol for
failure to have their vehicles inspected.
Inspection stickers affixed to motor
vehicles by official inspection stations
during the last compulsory inspection
period must remain on the vehicles un-
til the close of the 31, Secretary of
Revenue Leon D. Metzgar explained to-
day. Operators not displaying stickers
on their vehicles must be able to pro-
duce a certificate of inspection issued
by an official inspection station and
bearing the registration number of their
vehicle in ink,
The first compulsory inspection per-
iod of 1933 starts January 1 and con-

will be similar to those used in the
last campaign with the exception that
the colors will be red and blue.
