Tobacco Growers THE LARGEST MEETING SINCE THE GATHERING AT THE LANCASTER COURT HOUSE IN 1919 One of the largest meetings of the Lancaster County Tobacco Growers’ Association was held here Monday night in the Council Cham- ber, with eighty members present. It was announced the greatest meet- ing since 1919, when a meeting was held in the Lancaster court house. Many interesting phases on to- bacco were discussed by a galaxy of fine speakers. A report on the condition of plants indicated that there were plenty present on the beds, but rather small and back« ward.
