Tuesday afternoon the commit- tee had a conference with Exccu- tive Chairman Williams of the State Highway Committee in reference to the bill now in the Legislature to have the river road placed on the Sproul System of State Highways. The river road bill was drawn up by C. R. Burrier, president of the local auto club and Adam H. Luckenbill, and it is being presented in the Legislature by Representative Brown, of Mount Joy. The bill includes the stretch of highway leading from Middle- town through Royalton, through First Lock, Buck Lock, Falmouth, Collins Station, Bainbridge, Billmy- er, Schocks Mills, Marietta, and thence to Columbia, where it con- nects with the State Highway lead- ing to Lancaster.
