RACKS AT LAN- CASTER Startling facts were brought to light in statements given the State Police by thirteen-year-old Lillian Bender of Sporting Hill whose ad- missions have caused the arrest of her mother, Mrs. Jane Bender, and two males. Further developments of a more serious nature are ex- pected within the next week. According to the girl’s confessions she was at all times at the mercy of the males who have been arrested. She says no attempt ever was made to protect her from their attacks. According to the police the girl is suffering from dementia. Her hair has been cut short. She does not however, seem to realize the serious- ness of the exact condition under which she lived. No charge has yet been brought against her mother for her failure to protect the girl but the parent has been held on another charge brought about by her own actions.
