W. Graybill, the coal and lumber lealel at East burg, was on his way} o Lan for a load of bricl h a tw team He was ob d to cross the tracks of the Pe ania Railroad cut off and at that place the lent occurred. He had halted for the passing of one iraln and then went on, and just as he was on the tracks and too late to get out of harm's | way, he observed another train | thundering on at a mile a minute clip and he was caught. The young | man was horribly mangled and in- stantly killed, the wagon was broken | into splinters and only one of the horses was slightly injured at the | foot. News of the accident spread rapid- | ly and soon a large crowd of people | gathered or the scene. His body was taken to Landisville and later to his home. Deceased was a son of John Henry Wolf, of East Petersburg, formerly of Mt. Hope. Had he lived until July he would have been twenty-one vears old.
