The church extends an invitation for all to attend. be Four-yolk egg found by Marietta man Glenn Forwood, R.D.#1, Marietta, had quite a surprise last Tuesday when he cracked open an egg for lunch. Not only did the brown egg contain two yolks (nothing unusual in an egg) but nestled between the two yolks was a perfect soft-shell egg. Mr. Forwood opened the soft-shell egg and, much to his surprise, found that it also contained two yolks. “I was flabbergasted,” laughed Mr. Forwood. *‘I had never seen anything like this before.”’ Mr. Forwood was espec- ially anxious to show the egg to his nine-year-old twins, Danielle and David, both fourth grade students at Riverview. The Guinness Book of World Records reports a five-yolk egg. ‘1 think we must have some kind of record here; at least for Lancaster County,’’ laughed Mr. Forwood. The egg came from the Forwoods own chicken. David and Danielle, front, take a look at the strange egg with their father, Glenn Forwood.
