New officers inducted were: John Auker, treasur- er; Roxanne Henry, den leader; Carol Eisenhauer, assistant den leader; Joan Mains, new assistant den leader; and Dwayne Jen- kins, assistant Webelos leader. Leaving the pack after 16 years of service was Myron Weber, and after one year, Carolyn Newcomer. Boys advancing to the Webelos Den included: Kevin Eby, Jeffery Suter, Jason Lutz, Brian Charles and Brian Derr. Cubmaster Robert W. Mark presented S0th year patch awards to: Jessie Hostetter, Dwayne Jenkins, Joan Mains, Eric Derr, Devin Graham, Jeffery Sut- er, Matthew Mains, Carol Eisenhauer and Roxanne Henry. Bobcat awards went to | Eric Derr, Devin Graham, Jessie Hostetter and Matthew Mains. Steve Turpin won the Wolf award, and Silver and Gold Arrows went to Reed Boring, Andrew Weather- bie and John Haller. Christopher Jenkins won badges for aquanaut, geolo- gist, outdoorsman, athlete, engineer, forester and showman. Micheal Boring received badges for engineer and naturalist, while James Prout got his for outdoors- man, citizen and naturalist. His daughters, Darlene Mummau and Marion Max- well, spoke about ‘‘Life with Daddy,’”’ and granddaugh- ter Maxine Maxwell sang “Tonight.” Magdalene Maxwell, a granddaughter, read an original poem entitled ‘‘My Grandfather.” Lucy Brubaker played sever- al piano selections, and Joe Gerlitzki entertained on the accordian. Mr. Gerlitzki recently arrived home after spending | three weeks in the hospital. He had been injured in an accident at work. Fund raising by W.IL. Beahn chorus group A fund raising campaign will be initiated by the Wilbur I. Beahm Junior High School Chorus on Monday, September 29. Orders will be taken for acrylic ornaments. Proceeds from this benefit will be used to fun a trip to see the musical ‘‘Annie’’ at the Hershey Theatre. The chorus appreciates all public support in this effort.
