We anticipate purchasing new four inch fire hose at an estimated cost of $5.19 per foot. We need 1,000 feet— total cost—$6,000.00. We feel that the purchase of this new hose will increase the efficiency of your Fire De- partment. Since January, 1980, fire training has been conducted weekly to instruct our firemen in updated fire fighting techniques. We have had many projects to raise monies this year. New helmets, fire coats, boots, air masks and a Little People’s Co-op begins new year Sept. 8 Little People’s Co-op Nursery School, located at the Florin Church of the Brethren, 81S Bruce Ave., Mount Joy, is continuing to enroll children for the 1980-81 school year. There are openings for 4-year-olds on Wednesday and Friday mornings and Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. The 2-year-old, 3-year-old and Tuesday and Thursday 4-year-old classes are filled but a waiting list is being compiled. Little People’s Nursery School is a parent co-opera- tive nursery school that allows and encourages par- ents to share the nursery school experience with their children by assisting in class a few times each year. Each three- and four-year-old class has two certified teachers and one parent assistant every day. The two-year-old class has one certified teacher and two parent assistants each day. For enrollment informa- tion contact Carol Fetch, Registrar, at 684-6155. Par- ent Orientation is scheduled for Thursday, September 4, 7:30 pm at the church.
