and Wilcox Co., Middle-
town, as a secretary.

of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur L.
Porter, Muncie, Ind. He
graduated from Ball State
University, Muncie, with a|
degree in engineering. He
served in the U.S. Navy for’
ten years, and is employed

bid for a dishwasher to be

ment, Inc., Manheim. The
bid of $2,875 was the only
one received.

mer.
In personnel matters, the
board accepted the re-
signation of William G.
Strausbrugh, high school
math teacher, Miss Deborah
Geno, high school math
teacher and Mrs. Esther H.
Hartman, elementary read-
ing teacher at Seiler. Mrs.
Hartman is completing 26
years of teaching, 8 wit the
Donegal district. Miss Betty
Jane Charles was appointed
district food service manag-
er, replacing Mrs. Helen
Barnhart who is retiring.
Mrs. Barbara Titus, a
mother of two Seiler stu-
dents, suggested to the
board that a survey be done
regarding the closing in of
the Grandview courtyard.
She also questioned the
merit of the gifted student
classes being held at
Donegal.
