Clair L. Wag- ner, Jr., pastor of Gloss- brenner United Methodist Church, Mount Joy, has been appointed pastor of Zion United Methodist Church, Myerstown, effect- ive July 1. The Rev. Mr. Wagner has served the Mount Joy Church since 1969. A native of Mount Joy, Mr. Wagner is a graduate of Franklin and Marshal Col- lege and United Theological Seminary, Dayton, Ohio. He received a Master of Sacred Theology degree from Lancaster Theological Seminary in 1971. Mr. Wagner is married to the former E. Lorraine Kindig of Conestoga, PA. They have two sons, Bruce and Mark. Bruce, a 1979 graduate of Donegal High School, is a first-year apprentice carpenter in the Lancaster County Home- builders Association pro- gram. Mark is a senior at Donegal and will be a freshman music major at Lebanon Valley College in the fall. Mr. Wagner is a member of the Worship Commission of the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference and the Gretna Glen Camp Site Committe. He has directed a week of Junior High or Senior High Camps at Gretna Glen for 18 years. He is the vice president of the Lancaster County Interdenominational Ministerial Fellowship and a member of the Board of Directors of the Lancaster County Council of Churches. Mount Joy chapter ABWA to hold Spring Enrollment Event Mar. 25 On March 25, 1980 the Mount Joy Charter Chapter of the American Business Women's Association will hold its Spring Enrollment event, 6:30 pm, at the Tropical Treat Drive-In (between Mount Joy and Elizabethtown). The guest speaker for the evening will be Jane W. Deibler, Man- ager, Customer Response Center, Armstrong Cork Co. Active in the American Business Women’s Assoc- iation for eight years, she has been instrumental in forming four of the ten local chapters. In addition, she served as past president of two chapters, and chaired numerous committees. Her topic will be “The Unlimited Scope". Jill Funk, employed by Darrell N. Van Ormer as a secretary, will be the vocational speaker. A.B.W.A. Enrollment Events are held semi- annually to introduce A.B.W.A. and the local chapter to employed women in this area. The goal of A.B.W.A. is to help women in business advance through education, increased com- petence and through up- grading of professional skills and business atti- tudes.
