Gottschall, of Marietta. They now reside at 10 Garden Court. The dinner was held at Willow Valley Farms Restaurant. Mrs. Gottschall is the former Helen G. Gibbons of Mount Joy. They were married in Mount Joy, by the Rev. H.S. Kiefer, Thanksgiving Day, 1922. They are members of the Assembly of God Church at Glad Tidings Temple, and have two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Aaron worked for 26 years as a guard in Marietta for the Army, and the Air Force in Middletown. He also worked for Burns Interna- tional Security Services, Inc. from 1967 until his retirement in 1974. Chiques Basketball League is underway The Chiques AAA Basket- ball League opened its 14th season on November 19. Games are played at the Columbia Armory on Mon- day and Thursday nights. Current standings are: Bucs—3 wins, 1 loss Bullets—3 wines, 1 loss Sixers—2 wins, 2 losses Sonics, 0 wins, 4 losses Last week, the Bucs crushed the Sonics 83-58. The bullets topped the Sixers 79-71. The Bullets edged the Bucs 62-61, and the Sixers beat the Sonics 97-82. Marietta Lions to see slides on Holy Land Slides of the Holy Land will be shown at the Marietta Lion’s Club Ladies Night event to be held Thursday, Dec. 13, at the Colonial Inn, Marietta.
