town and Columbia.
The Lutz family formerly
operated the Zone 7 fire and
ambulance dispatch station.
County communications has
now taken over the job.
Speaker for the event was
State Fire Comissioner,
Charles A. Henry. Dennis
Gentzel of Elizabethtown
helped in the planning of the
dinner.
For their twenty years of
service, the Lutz family
received a trip to Florida for
four. In addition, the
firemen also presented the
family with a plague
thanking them for their
service. The Maytown crews
gave the family a special
plague, also.
The Maytown Fire Chief
Charles Shaffner told us that
‘‘the Lutz family has done so
much for us, this is just a
small token of our apprecia-
tion. We wish them the best
in all that they do.”
