One male student remarked that while cooking is ‘OK, I like eating better.’’ Gloria Althouse tells BPW about gift boxes Mrs. Gloria Althouse of Manheim, who addressed the last meeting of the Mount Joy Business and Professional Women, has an unusual way of packing gifts. She makes the box first, then finds something to put into it. The boxes are made in the shape of candles, keys, trains, snow men, churches, hobby horses, and sleighs and reindeer. Mrs. Althouse showed the BPW women some of her creations. The program was arrang- ed by the Public Relations Committee, chaired by Mary Jane Hoffer. BPW members came to this October meeting in costumes.
