The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elwood K. Rice, 222 West Donegal Street, Mount Joy. She is a graduate of Donegal High School and was empleyed for the summer as Youth Activities Director at the Doubling Gap Center, Newville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth E. Brandt, R.D.#1, Bainbridge. He is a graduate of Elizabethtown High School, and is presently a junior attending Findlay College, Ohio, as a pre-ministerial student. He also was employed for the summer at Doubling Gap Center as Chaplain. Matron of Honor was Mrs. Patricia R. McAfee, sister of the bride. Maid of Honor was Miss Jacque Zeller, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Miss Judy Rice and Miss Doris Rice, sisters of the bride, and Miss Kelly Brandt, sister of the groom. Serving as best man was Kirby Brandt, brother of the groom. Given it marriage by her father, the Bride wore a white bridal gown of organza over taffeta featur- ing a Queen Ann neckline adorned with silk venise daisies accented with seed pearls. the long, sheer organza sleeves featured cuffs accented with venise lace. The natural waistline flowed to an A-line skirt with a chapel-length train. Her mantilla was made with a white walking length veil edged with silk venise daisies. She carried a cascading bouquet of orange daisies, ivy, and baby’s breath, with white stream- ers. Following a reception in the Church Fellowship Hall, the couple left on a honeymoon trip to Wild- wood, NJ. They will reside at 2114 Jennifer Lane, Findlay, Ohio 45840, follow- ing the wedding trip.
