Proceeds will be used to contruct a bike trail. New bus schedules The Red Rose Transit Authority has rescheduled bus routes in Lancaster County. The new timetables, colored maroon, replace the old blue ones dated January 22, 1979. The revised shedules are available from the RRTA bus drivers, and copies will be mailed on request. XAT "RR AA Donegal school board to meet Thur. The agenda for the Donegal School Board meeting, to be held on Thursday, Sept. 20th, at the District Office, is a follows: 1. Act upon resignations and hirings, both profes- sional and non-professional; 2. Introduce new teachers to the school board and let them observe the board in action; DHS seniors attended chemistry program In July two of Donegal’s seniors, Judy Kerschner and Phil Landis, were invited to attend the Youth Scholar’s Program in chem- istry held at Lebanon Valley College for one week. During the week the students investigated a number of problems in chemistry using the col- lege’s sophisticated scienti- fic apparatus. Mr. Loercher commented, “The experiences they gained should be most beneficial to their education- al development in science.’ The use of Lebanon Valley College’s equipment is an innovative idea, since most high schools cannot afford such apparatus.’ Goodwill needs help Goodwill Industries has an urgent need for skilled volunteers in several areas.
