Rest Home, formerly of Maytown and Elizabethtown died at last Friday at the rest home. He was the husband of Mary McCurdy Earhart, also a guest at the rest home. Earhart was an insurance salesman, employed former- ly by the Washington National Life Insurance Company and the United Insurance Co. Later, he worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Transporta- tion until his retirement in 1974. Born in Lancaster County, he was the son of the late Henry B. and Lizzie Brandt Earhart. He was a member of the Elizabethtown Church of the Brethren and was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of Cdlumbia and Loyal ~ Order of the Moose 596, Elizabethtown. Surviving - Earhart, in addition, to his wife, are three sons: John, Alexan- dria, Va.; and George R. and William, both of - Elizabethtown. Four grand- children and one great- grandchild also survive. Other survivors are twe brothers: Benjamin, Eliza- bethtown and Isaac, Landis- ville; and two sisters: Sadie Earhart, Maytown, and Fannie Burkholder, Bain- bridge. Harry H. Barnhart Harry Hocker Barnhart, 66, Mount Joy R 2, died unexpectedly at 2 PM Saturday while visiting the home of a neighbor. He lived most of his life in ount Joy and resided with his daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Richard Schatz. Born in Dauphin County, he was the son of the late Harry Edward and Anna Mary Hocker Barnhart. Retired from the U.S. Army Transportation Corps, Marietta Depot, he was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge 596 of Elizabethtown. In addition to his daughter, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Alverdta M. Gohn, of Mount Joy R3; and Emma, wife of John G. Brandt, of Manheim RS. He is also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
