Business is becoming hostile to Penn- sylvania. 193,000 less people are employed in Pennsylvania today from 10 years ago. The reform must come from the legislature. Our meat association has joined the Ad Hoc Committee Combined. We represent thousands of Pennsylvania businesses. This will be a vital piece of legislation, so I trust you will be interested enough to keep abreast. Sincerely, John Henry Brubaker Secretary, Pennsylvania Association . of Meat Processors We will again be visiting the Schock Home on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month. A raffle drawing at the November meeting will be held for a $50 gift certifi- cate. The proceeds from this raffle will go to benefit community services. A new committee, called S.0.S., has been formed. Its purpose is to provide emer- gency services to club members. If a member is: sick or hospitalized, or has a death in the family, or their husband is out of town and they need help they just call S.0.S.
