Harrisburg Avenue, Rheems, died at home unexpectedly last - week. He had been under the care of a physician. Horning worked as a cattle dealer, first with Keller and Heisey, and later on his own. He was a former tax assesor for West Donegal Township. Born in Lemoyne, he was a son of the late John B. and Lillie Kachel Horning. He was a member of Glossbrenner United Meth- odist Church, Mount Joy. Surviving him are his wife, Alida Greider Horning and five children: Janet H. Laudenslager, Creamery; Ruth H., wife of Edward Rheems; Louise H., wife of Edwin M. Bush, Jr., Crofton, MD; Charlotte H., wife of Michael A. Lattin, Fort Carson, Col.; and Linda H., wife of Dale Sullivan, Hanover. He is also survived by 15 grand- children. Patrick Moran, breast. MRS. EMONEZER SMITH Mrs. Esther Z. Frey Smith, 75, formerly of Mount Joy RD1, died Sunday at Heatherbank in Columbia. She was born in Rapho Township, a daughter of the late John T. and Ella Zeager Frey. She was the widow of Emonezer S. Smith, who died in 1973. She was a member of the Manor Brethren in Christ Church, Columbia RD2. She is survived by two" daughters: Nancy I, wife of John K. Frey, Maytown, and Alma I., wife of Bruce C. Wilkins, Manheim RD4; 8 grandchildren; and one —Sandy Gingrich great-grandchild. She is also survived by these sisters: Margaret Fackler, Mount Joy; Frances, wife of Martin Krady, Salunga; Bertha Eberly, Lititz; Edna Martin, Manhiem; and Anna Mary, wife of William Esbenshade of Manheim. ROBERT M. DUNBAR Robert M. Dunbar, 25, of 22 Penn Court Drive, Mount Joy, died last Friday in an auto accident. He was an employee of Continental Can Co. He moved to Mount Joy last May, having lived in Mountville for most of his life. ‘He was the husband of Patricia C. Bowles ‘Dunbar. He was baptized in the United Methodist faith. He was a member of the Mountville Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was born in Portland, Oregon, the son of Robert S. and Adelma Gorsline Dun- bar of Mount Joy. MRS. HAZEL MARTIN Mrs. Hazel M. Martin, 88, formerly of Marietta, died last Thursday at Conestoga View after a lengthy illness. She was the widow of the late Roy H. Martin, who died in 1972. She was born in Marietta, a daughter of the late James W. and Olevia Hipple Curran. She was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church of Marietta. Surviving her is a sister, Merval H., the wife of Cloyd M. Gibble of Marietta.
