Mother-daughter banquet Approximately 10S per- sons attended a mothers and daughters banquet at the Zion United Church of Christ, Marietta. The dinner was prepared and served by the men of the congrega- tion, headed by Charles Goss. Entertainment was ar- ranged by Barbara Boyer who used the theme ‘‘Going Back in Time.”’ There was: group singing; a duet by Ruth Fahringer and Elsie Byers; solos by Barbara Boyer and Mrs. Rex; and skits by Raeann and Pat Kunkle, Mary Nein, Gerry Goss and Jean Prescott. A children’s choir also presented musical selec- tions and was accompanied by Carla Rex. A special Mother's Day service was held by the same church on Sunday at 10:45 AM. Gifts of flowers were presented to Ruth Fahringer (oldest mother); Ann McClengnan (youngest mother); and Mary Drager, Mary Nein, Elsie Byers and Elaine Jordan.
