Market Street, Marietta, on April 4th at 7:00 PM. His appearance is sponsor- ed by several Inter-Faith Area Churches. Mr. Valenti has sung from coast to coast. While in nightclubs, he appeared with some of the biggest names in show business. His leading roles include Brigadoon, My Fair Lady, Carousel, Fanny, South Pacific, Oklahoma, Most Happy Fellow, and The Vagabond King. His voice teacher was the same person who taught Mario Lanza; Tony has been acclaimed as the greatest tenor since Lanza. © monthly meeting, Hoffer is new president of Joycee-ettes by Jo Ann Frymoyer The Mount Joy Joycee- ettes have elected Patsy Hoffer as president at their March 20. The other officers elected are Jacquie Mec- Curdy, vice-president; Jo Ann Frymoyer, secretary; Sue Thomas, treasurer; Cindy Stoner, editor; Bev Swanson, director; and Jesse Crouser, historian. The new officers will begin their terms in May. Because of bad weather, the membership coffee was postponed in February. The coffee is now scheduled for April 9, at the home of Cheryl Hallgren. All young women between the ages of 18 and 35 who are interested in learning more about the Joycee-ettes are welcomed. The Sweetheart King and Queen Contest, held in February, turned out to be a big success with proceeds benefiting the Donegal Dental Clinic and the Friendship Fire Company. Cara Hollinger was crown- ed Queen and Ryan Schaeffer was crowned King. The Joycee-ettes enjoyed themselves at the winter social which included a bowling party and hors d’oeurves afterwards at the home of Kathy Bower. The month of April will include the Installation Banquet to be held at the Holiday Inn East, April 7. The monthly meeting, April 17, will be a program and skit by Family and Chil- dren’s Service of Lancaster titled ‘*All the Caterpillars You Want.’ This will be especially interesting and educational for all mothers. The public is invited to attend from 7:30 to 8:30 PM at the Borough Hall. The Joycee-ette annual Easter Egg Hunt is also scheduled for April. The next big project, now in the planning, is the chicken bar-b-que sale, to be held after the Memorial Day Parade, May 26.
